Rare Frank Harden Furniture Company early Arts & Crafts Unique Rocker with hand painted scene of Monks sharing lager. Fine original dark finish with highlighted areas from years of comfortable use. The oil painting is still very colorful and brilliant. Quarter sawed white oak as can be seen well in the oak saddle seat. Spline construction in the seat as can be seen in the close-up of the front of the seat. Interesting cut-out design surrounding the painted back slat. Rare original oval paper label signature under seat along with a handwritten mention of the Companies name, model #776 & location in New York. Measures: 30 1/2" wide x 32" deep at rocker x 20" deep at arm x 34" high. Model #776.
